Skills
These are listed as unbuffed and with NO gear on to show the unmodified value and the ammount of skill points put into each.

19 Ranks means that every level the skill was maxed out, on monk levels the cross class skills take two action points each, so some of the less important skills were left as they were for a level.

The goal was to hit certain modified values for sneak/hide/balance/jump/tumble to make them very useful... while maxing out all the important rouge skills (marked with an *).

To see a modified value add +19 to each (Greater Hero and +15 item) to see a boosted value add +4 more (Rouge boost + Head of Good fortune)

For Umd Figure in 7 fingered gloves +5, Head of good Fortune +2, Cha 6 ring +3, Rouge boost +2, and Greater Hero +4 for a total of +16 to base leaving a +39 umd, flawless heal scroll use!

Notes and Observations

Crippling Strike & Radiance II
Crippling strike is one of the class bonus feats available to rouges...
It deals -2 strength damage to any opponent who is struck with a sneak attack.
Once any opponent reaches 0 in ANY stat they become vulnerable and every following hit is an automatic critical.

The reason Radiance II is so strong is on any successful critical hit (on a quarterstaff 19-20 die roll with improved crit) you will blind your opponent and deal 4d6 light damage. There is NO save against this.
Once Blinded the opponent recieves a 50% miss chance to any attacks against you, AND every following hit you land on him is treated as a sneak attack AND therefore gets the -2 to strength from crippling strike.

This is essentially a acrobats vorpal. You have a 10% chance (19-20 die roll) on every swing to blind & weaken & create an auto sneak attack/auto critical situation on any opponent who can be blinded. (essentially everything but red/purple named bosses)

All of my Greensteel/Shroud staffs are made with insight +4 as the final tier...its just TOO much ac to ignore. And I reccommend the Radiance II staff be built Holy + Flaming Burst + Insight 4

Feats
The two best ways to go as a halfling
Dragonmarks: Great choice for survivability
Two Handed Fighting Chain: Great choice for additional DPS
Either way is great... just depends on your play style and goals, either can be substituted into the progression listed above.

Divine Power
I can not recommend dicine power clickies enough. They last 1:05 which is kind of short, but great to throw off before a big fight or entering a room.
For those that do not know, they grant Full Base Attack Bonus.
Which gives you a faster swing speed, +5 to hit, and an additional 3 pts of damage to each glancing blow. It is a definite worthwhile investment, 2 or 3 5 charge items should be enough to last between shrines.

For 28Pt Builds
This is more of an advanced build. If you are looking to do something similar as a new person to the game it will be difficult, but not impossible, read through the thread there is a lot of great information there.

I would roll with a 14 dex and a 9 wisdom and a 12 con. The 9 wisdom will even out to a 10 later on with the monk wisdom enhancement. This retains the ability to keep your rouge skills up to par. Your AC will be slightly lower at end game (2 less) but this is not the end of the world..
________

So it would go like this.

15
14
12
14
9
8

Then you can grab some +1 tomes to get things rolling.

+1 str
+1 wis

These can be taken at any level and they will still help...but if you can get them ready for when you hit level 3 it would be a good thing.

As far as the skills... your only going to be 1 point per level less...make sure to max out the skills I marked with an * on the main post...and I would just vary which other skill you do not raise per level. (like dont put into jump once and tumble the next time... etc...) If you need to ingore a * skill at any level I would reccomend haggle.. since this really isnt that important to succeeding, just gets you more money.
